What is Concept Cardio?
Concept Cardio is a class designed to improve Cardiorespiratory Fitness using indoor Ski, Bike and Row (made by Concept). This class is approximately 45min in length and one of the most popular sessions we run here at No Barrier Fitness. Every class is different meaning you never get bored. Each individual is given a heart rate monitor to wear (forearm/bicep) before class, the lights go out, music turned up and the clock starts.
Although completely Cardio based, your upper and lower body get a very good muscle endurance workout also, upper body pulling with the ski and rower and lower body pushing with the bike and rower. You need zero gym experience to take part in this class, the machines are simple to use and each class has a target heart rate zone so that you never over-do it. If you enjoy spinning then you will love Concept Cardio, this class is the evolution of stationary cycling but much more enjoyable and beneficial.
How Do I Start?
Click on “Try a Free Class” option and follow the steps from there. We also understand how intimidating it can be to join a new class, for this reason we cap each class with a maximum number of people to ensure each coach knows each client and their strength & weaknesses.
This enables them to recognise new members, integrate them safely into the class environment and help guide them around the class for maximum effectiveness & enjoyment.
